Shipping Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This policy explains how orders are shipped and what to do if a delivery arrives damaged or incomplete. Freight terms on your quote or order confirmation control if they differ from this page.

Processing times

Stock items typically ship within 3–5 business days after order confirmation and payment clearance. Custom print and private-label orders ship on the lead time stated on the quote, usually 20–30 days after artwork approval.

Orders are not released until freight terms, delivery address, and any liftgate or appointment requirements are confirmed.

Freight and delivery

We quote parcel, LTL, full truckload, and ocean container options based on volume and destination. Freight is quoted separately unless the quote states that delivery is included.

LTL deliveries are curbside by default. If you need a liftgate, inside delivery, appointment window, or limited-access service, tell us before the order is released; these services may add cost.

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. We will share tracking details when available.

Receiving your order

Inspect the shipment before signing. Note any visible damage, missing cartons, or shrink-wrap issues on the delivery receipt (BOL) and photograph the freight before it leaves.

Report concealed damage or shortages within 48 hours of delivery to sales@northlinefoodservice.com with the order number, photos, and a copy of the signed receipt. Do not discard damaged product or packaging until the claim is resolved.

Split shipments and backorders

If an order contains both stock and custom items, we may ship available stock first and the balance when ready. We will tell you before splitting an order and confirm any additional freight.
